DAMAC Foundation Funds the One Million Arab Coders Initiative

Hussain Sajwani, the founder of the DAMAC foundation, has entered into a partnership with some other business partners and signed a memorandum in a bid to support one Million coders objective. DAMAC, through its founder, hopes to sponsor about a million Arabs to learn coding and computer programming. This joint venture also includes the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai.

It is estimated that by the year 2020, there will be over 80 million jobs available in the software world. This will include jobs in the creation of smartphone software and web development too.

During the launch of the program, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum thanked Hussain Sajwani for his involvement in sponsoring the one million coders initiative. The initiative will be building block towards achieving a brighter future for the technology sector in the Arab world. The Arab leader also noted the crucial role being played by the private sector in building a brighter future for the Arab World.

This is the first program of this kind in the Arab world that has been created by the DAMAC Foundation in conjunction with Hussain Sajwani. The latter intends to help His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in creating a happier and more developed Arab world through education.

The memorandum was signed when the business mogul and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met at the Dubai Future foundation offices. Others present during this historical event included: – His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs amongst other dignitaries.

His Excellency Al Gergawi on his part said that the initiative will provide very fundamental capabilities that the future United Arab Emirates will find very useful. Also, the leader noted that the initiative will be very important in assisting the Arab world to be able to get solutions for problems that they may incur without having to outsource human resource from other continents. Hussain Sajwani’s Business Plans Are Linked With Philanthropic Vision

Hussain Sajwani, the founder and Chairman of DAMAC Properties, is known for linking his business plans with his philanthropic vision. He encourages the youth to make their choice in entrepreneurial initiatives and helps them with advice and assistance.

Hussain Sajwani is also noted with a number of significant contributions that support local communities and various causes. He is known for providing regular contributions to various philanthropic activities, and it includes a two million AED for providing clothes to more than 50,000 deprived children in 2013.

Hussain Sajwani started his real estate foray in the late 90s, and in 2002, he founded DAMAC Properties. Since then, Hussain Sajwani has a long-standing relationship with Donald Trump and his family including daughter Ivanka Trump. Interestingly, Hussain Sajwani was invited to the New Year’s Eve celebration hosted by Trump in 2017, after he won the Presidential election.

Hussain Sajwani established his flagship investment firm called DICO Investments Co LLC in 1992. He also has businesses named Al Amana Building Materials and Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Co. based in Oman to manufacture and supply high-quality building materials and ceramic tiles in the country.

Hussain also founded Al Jazeira Services to offer catering and other support services to various industries and customers. His DAMAC Properties launched the hospitality division of the firm called DAMAC Maison to offer bespoke services to hotel apartments and at least 15,000 serviced hotel rooms.
